Grade 7 : CIRCLES Part 2 (The Area of Circle)


When we find the area of a figure, we divide it up into square units, such as square centimeters. This is easy for a figure like a rectangle, which has straight sides, but how can we find the area of a circle in terms of square units?
By working through following Investigation, students will discover a formula that they can use to find the area of circle. 
We only can do 3 types of methods of proving the area of circle
